Our store hours have changed

alarm clock image

Things just seem a little harder these days, don’t they? Well, please believe us when we say we don’t want to make it any worse for our customers. But we are having the same challenges most other small businesses face trying to hire for open staff positions (Interested? Read below.), so we have made the difficult decision to change Sassy Pecan store hours.

Beginning Saturday, June 11, 2022, Sassy Pecan store hours will be:

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday-Friday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

If you’re a Monday regular, we are sorry for the inconvenience, and hope you will join us another day and time when we are open and serving all our Sassy delights. We thank you all for being amazing customers and appreciate your understanding.

Want to join the team?

Are you looking for a summer job with great hours? Come see us… We’re hiring!

We’re looking for positive, friendly, hard working people to join our team in Prep. In this position you’ll prepare all of our delicious sandwiches and wraps for lunch, keep the prep area stocked, slice the meats and veggies we use for lunches, and other kitchen duties. Commercial kitchen, restaurant, café or related experience is awesome but we will provide training, too.

Saturdays are required, as we are open for breakfast and lunch, but we are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

If you think you’re the right fit for this role, send us a message or come on in to fill out an application! If you know someone who would love to work with us, please share this post with them.

We’re located at 111 S. Greenwood St. in Lebanon, Tennessee.

The Summer of Ice Cream!

We’ve partnered with Shop Springs Creamery again for our ice cream! Using their vanilla and chocolate ice creams as the base for our flavors, we’ve brought our Red Velvet Cake, Hazelnut Pecan Praline, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Strawberry Chocolate back!

Our ice creams use inclusions from our Sweetie Cakes, Toffee Bark, Caramel Clusters, and fresh toasted Georgia pecans to create fabulous taste experience!

We’ll have our ice creams ready to go on Friday, June 3! We’ll serve by the waffle cone cup or regular cups!

Here we go for 2021!

I know many of us definitely were ready to see 2020 leave and so it has. 2021 brings lots of opportunity and we’ve decided to begin with a few changes that we hope you like. We’re opening back up on Monday, January 4, with some good news!

First, we’ve streamlined our lunch menu with the more popular sandwiches. You can see the new menu here. This allows us to offer more specials like Sloppy Joes, Italian Beef Sandwiches, Pulled BBQ, and Quiche. We’ve also downsized our drink menu to tea, coffee, fruit tea, and diet coke.

Second, we’ve pared down product flavors to the more popular ones. This allows us to replenish inventory more quickly and keep costs down, which means no planned price increases. The real upside is that we can now produce new products more quickly.

Third, we’re expanding our Marvy Bar flavors and introducing new items like our Toffee Popcorn and Chocolate Lollipops. Look for ice cream to make it’s appearance again in the spring!

And lastly, we get to focus on more our favorite items – baked goods. Expect to see Sassy Biscotti, Cinnamon Buns, Puff Pastries, and Cheesecakes. Who knows what else we’ll come up with?

Stay tuned and follow us @sassypecan on both Facebook and Instagram!

Farewell, Watertown! Hello, Lebanon!

Our new location in the heart of Lebanon: 111 S. Greenwood St.

It’s hard to write a post that is both happy and sad, but here we are.

We lost our lease in Watertown. As a result, we are relocating to Lebanon effective Oct. 1, 2020. We’ll still have some moving to do into October but our operations will be up and running in Lebanon on Oct. 1.

Here’s a picture of our new location, close and convenient to the Lebanon Square, Cumberland University and West Main Street.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us, rooted for us, and backed us in our time in Watertown. We’ve loved meeting and getting to know each of you, your families, and sharing our love of food!

We are reviewing options to offer delivery to business and schools — stay tuned! In the meantime, continue to stop by our Watertown store through September, and please come see us in Lebanon this fall. We’re always happy to answer any questions you have.
